Activities and missionMission: To work for the respect of the rights of children and young women through special and innovative protection services in Ethiopia. Violence against children is a pervasive problem in Ethiopia. Studies show that many children experience sexual abuse, trafficking, female genital cutting, early marriage, and forced sex work. ECFA seeks to address all types of violence against children. ECFA works in partnership with a variety of local organizations and agencies to address the unique needs of physically and sexually abused children in a holistic manner, and thus the organization is carrying out activities based on the following strategic focuses. 1. Providing confidential, accessible and quality helpline service in Oromia region 2. Strengthening and expanding Child protection trainings for child protection actors and establishing training and resource centre 3. Preventing violence & abuse through Increasing awareness of child protection issues among children and the community engagement /mobilization 4. Mitigating online sexual Abuse & exploitation of Children 5. Advocacy and policy literacy for effective child protection
