Become a Child Rights Principles Community of Practice (CRP-COP) member today and join our network of vibrant international Child Rights practitioners. Membership is open to organisations and individuals anywhere in the world, with an interest in the rights and well-being of children.

The Child Rights Principles Community of Practice (CRP-COP) gives child focused organisations and individuals a platform through which you can:

  • establish a common understanding of what the Child Rights Principles mean and how they should apply in practice
  • Share experiences and best practices applying Child Rights principles.
  • Join forum groups to discuss your key child rights issues that affect your work and create change with people in a similar situation.

Apply for your membership here

Membership will be in two main categories:

  • Basic membership and Premium membership
  • Basic membership is for new members who were not part of the previous Oak foundation 6P Child Rights Capacity development programme and 6P Community of practice members. This is for not-for-profits and other organisations that work with, or for children and their rights.
  • Premium membership is for the existing 6P Community of practice members who have been part of the 6P Child Rights Capacity Development Programme. The existing organisational members will be automatically having the status of ‘‘Premium membership’’ and enjoy the benefits outlined above.
  • All applications for the Child Rights Principles Community of Practice (CRP-COP) are made via the website. By submitting the application online, the Member is deemed to have signed the application form.
  • A Member is anyone who registers on the Child Rights Principles Community of Practice (CRP-COP) website, as an individual or as part of their organisation.
  • Child Rights Principles Community of Practice’s Executive Committee reserves the right at all times and at its absolute discretion to accept or reject applications for Membership as it feels appropriate.
  • Upon registration you will become a Member of the Child Rights Principles Community of Practice (CRP-COP) and gain access to CRP-COP membership services.
  • Members can use their Membership login to enter the Members’ forum and resources hub.
  • Upon registration a Profile for each Member will be created in the Members Section. This is mandatory and will include your name and organisation.
  • The Child Rights Principles Community of Practice’s executive committee may terminate your Membership in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. 
  • Information held on the website is subject to the Privacy Policy.
