Clement Njoroge is a development and communication professional with a passion in new media and child safeguarding and protection. He is the founder and director of MediaNet Works, a Community Based Organisation that runs ‘Safe Online Safe Onland’, Child Online Safety capacity building programs. Clement’s experience spans over 15 years of media and development, University lecturer, editor/writer including community training. He previously worked for Newsfromafrica Online, The Big Issue Kenya magazine and a contributor for local and international press. Recently, he was the Kenya Country liaison officer at PANOS Eastern Africa responsible for Media Communications and Advocacy, Child Safeguarding and Protection, Networking, Research and Training where he coordinated Media Agency for Child Protection project, Building The Capacity Of The Media To Contribute to Efforts In Support Of A Climate Resilient Society in Kenya. Clement is a graduate of the Catholic University with a BA in philosophy and religious studies, Postgraduate Diploma studies in Project Planning, media studies.
