Kokuteta Monica Baregu took up her position as 6P steering committee chairperson in November, 2020. She is the Executive Director for Ekama Development foundation based in Tanzania. She has more than 35 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, working for UN organizations, government institutions, INGOs, local Organizations, and religious institutions promoting the rights of women and children. Her professional experience spans University lecturing, mentoring young people, facilitating, training and reviewing Children’s books. She has extensive programme management and consultant experience in Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Zambia and Tanzania. Kokuteta holds a degree in law and a master’s in human rights and environmental rights.
